Ebenezer Reformed Church is part of the Reformed Church in America (RCA), which has its roots in the Protestant Reformation that swept across Europe in the 1500's. The first Reformed Congregation was established in 1648 in Amsterdam, New York. The Reformed Church currently has about 975 churches in the United States and Canada with approximately 200,000 active confirmed members.
Ebenezer Reformed Church was founded in by immigrants to this country shortly after they arrived. Together out congregation is made up of a number of nationalites and together we form a small part of the family of God. The Reformed Church of America is the oldest continuous denomination in North America.
The center of our church life together is our Sunday morning worship service at 10:00 a.m. We gather to worship God through music, message, prayer, and giving of our gifts. We join to hear the Word of God and for God's Spirit to work in the heart of each person, drawing each of us closer to God.
It is our hope that all will come to new life in Jesus Christ. We have many opportunities for service and growth. We hope that you will join us as we serve the Living God.
Ebenezer - Personal name meaning, "stone of help." We want to rely full on God the Rock of our salvation.
Reformed - We are a church of the Protestant Reformation, a time in the 1600's when believers began to read the Bible once again in their own language. We are the oldest contiuous denomination in North America. We seek to integrate faith into all areas of life.
Church - A group of persons professing trust in Jesus Christ, meeting together to worship Him, and seeking to enlist others to become His followers.
